challenge
project site located in open space between red bull and mtv offices. exploit under utilised site with an architectural intervention to establish connections between various ndsm users
protoTAG
concept
initial
reference historical use of site as a shipyard and ideas of transport + movement
architectural intervention as a collection of sensory 'containers' that actively respond to the current environment
HERD_ grouping of 'containers' and people when site is empty to promote interaction and collective
SPREAD_ dynamic movement and constant change of 'containers' when site is crowded
INTERACT_ constant movement of 'containers' brings different programs and users together
develop
3 dimensional configurable space as a machine for user interaction:
slider puzzle as a model for shifting/reconfigurable space
consider program_additional programs through architectural intervention that will add value to the space and foster user interaction
