Concept
Project Aim + Objectives:
Everything around us is context, from street-scape, surrounding buildings, the environment and even the people and its ethnicity. to Clarify such blurred and vague concept; this project focuses on the change in context in terms of functionality.
What if what you are building next to is not there anymore?
What if what you are building next to changes its functionality?
What if the targeted audience changes?
What if your own and surrounding functional requirements changes?
What if the consumer or company disappears?
how can architecture cater for these changes in context? How can architecture survive?
The objective is to create a dynamic, kinetic or adaptive architectural intervention that caters for the above situations. primarily focusing on form and functionality.
The System
Robotic Arms
Structural Integrity
Prototype #1 Cubicle
Prototype #2 Tensegrity
Prototype #3 Space structure

Rent "Me"
Conclusion
Urban:
Rent "Me" Service to cater for contextual change.
Allows more optomization in response to context change.
allows more opportunities to occur after a contextual change.
New architecture intervention without Form or Permanence.
Architecture: Temporary Customised units
Large range of possible geometries
Catering for large range of needs and desires.
Deconstructive architecture (within a span of 24 hours)
Ineffective components of the system: Robotic arm; as a borrowed tool for large scale manipulation.
potential of Robotic arm becoming its own Structure. (self construction)
high complexity within the system;
Project Complexity
