The designed light system will become an icon for NDSM. People will relate the lights with the formal warf. The lights will be plugged in in the floating exhibition dome (Project 14). This space can be hired by artists to exhibit their work around NDSM, in the city centre or even outside Amsterdam. In this way, the exhibition space refers to the Inspire me to change pavilion on NDSM, so that people can relate to it.

The Light scape Ribbon (Ribbon Ondina) that wraps the entire NDSM area is located near the pavilion. This walk path will continue on the public landscape above the pavilion. Next to this physical connection. The light system inside the pavilion will react on the ribbon as well. In fact, the light system can act as an actuator for the light scape ribbon. The walk path will also be shown as a route inside the building by the color of the lights. These lights don't only listen to their own inputs, they follow the rules of the light scape ribbon.
